1. Basic Structure

  • Windings: High and low voltage windings are usually wound with copper strips (foils) and cast with epoxy resin in a vacuum environment. After curing, they form a high-strength glass fiber reinforced plastic structure. Some high-voltage windings may also use copper wires.
  • Iron Core: Made of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, often with a 45° fully mitred joint structure. The surface is coated with resin paint for moisture and corrosion resistance.
  • Heat Dissipation: Longitudinal ventilation ducts are arranged inside the windings, and fans can be configured for forced air cooling (AF) to improve overload capacity.

2. Core Technologies

  • Vacuum Casting Process: Epoxy resin is cast in a vacuum environment, which can effectively eliminate bubbles, ensure a dense insulation layer, and achieve a low partial discharge value.
  • Thin Insulation Technology: The thickness of the insulation layer is usually 1-3mm, which effectively solves the cracking problem that may occur with thick insulation technology and has excellent crack resistance.

3. Core Performances

  • Safety & Environmental Protection: Epoxy resin has flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties, non-combustible, explosion-proof, and does not pollute the environment.
  • Excellent Electrical Performance: Strong lightning impulse resistance and high short-circuit withstand capacity.
  • Strong Environmental Adaptability: The windings are moisture-proof and dust-proof, capable of operating in harsh environments with high humidity, and basically maintenance-free.
  • Energy Saving & Economy: Low loss, obvious energy-saving effect, and economical operation.

4. Typical Applications

Suitable for occasions with high requirements for safety and fire protection, such as high-rise buildings, commercial centers, airports, tunnels, chemical plants, power stations, etc. It is usually used in indoor environments.

5. Technical Parameters

  • Capacity Range: Up to approximately 10,000 kVA
  • Voltage Level: Usually covering 10kV, 35kV and below
  • Insulation Class: Generally Class F (155℃) or Class H (180℃) with high temperature resistance
